2008 Turkey Bowl Tournament Champions!!!

On Saturday November 29th, 2008, Chester Alumni hosted its first Annual Turkey Bowl Tournament. The tournament included teams from Philadelphia Alumni, Abington-Ambler Alumni and Chester Alumni Chapters. Chester Alumni defended its home turf under the direction of Coach "Pretty Ricky" Hunter. Recent Widener University graduate and MVP of the tournament is Chester Alumni's own Brother Orlando "OJ" Brown recording 1 interception for a touchdown, 4 knock downs, and a 50 yard punt return.

The Turkey Bowl Tournament Committee spearheaded by Brothers Stefan Roberts, Ricardo Hunter, and Terry Robertson would like to thank all the particpating chapters as well as our Chefs of the day, Brother Ted Hawkins, and Mrs. Robin Thompkins for such a nice spread of food.

Palmer House Turkey Dinner

In conjunction with the Chester Inter-Greek Council (CIGC), the Brothers of Chester Alumni were on hand to serve the residents of the Palmer House Thanksgiving Dinner on November 22nd. The CIGC was also assisted by members of the Chester Alumni Guide Right Program, who know the importance of giving back to their community. Training for Leadership starts early!

Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway

Chester Alumni Brothers with help from some of the Guide Right participants were able to brighten the holidays for 25 families in Chester. The chapter presented these families with baskets filled with ingredients to ensure each had a Thanksgiving Dinner. For more pictures Click here
